Intro

Clash Royale initially came out in March 2016, and since then, it has introduced a variety of exciting things to keep its players trapped. Some elements, like Cards, Elixir, and Towers, can really help you in the tower defence game by protecting your tower and taking down your foe. Before you go using these elements, it’s best to understand how they work in Clash Royale!

Clash Royale Cards

The multiplayer game features a total of nine main kinds of cards, with each possessing its unique strengths and weaknesses. Clash Royale contains plenty of card types, and a player can choose eight cards to keep in their deck. This means you’ll have to constantly fine-tune your decks because your enemies can use cards you don’t have a powerful defence against.

Similar to Clash of Clans, Clash Royale is also pretty well-balanced without featuring a single card that makes another one outdated. You can unlock these Cards by progressing through the game’s arenas. Each card comes with a specific rarity, with each one maxing out at level 15. There are different rarities, including Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Champion.

Clash Royale Elixir

Elixir is considered the fuel of battle in Clash Royale. You’re required to spend some Elixir to deploy your cards in battle. Don’t worry, though, you’ll be constantly regenerating them in the game as you continue playing. Elixir’s generation rate increases as the battle continues. In Clash of Clans, you can use Elixir to upgrade your troops or buildings.

However, in Clash Royale, it’s an in-game resource you can spend to place Cards on the battlefield. If you have more Elixir than your enemy, you’ll have the upper hand in battle and can easily attack and defend. You’ll first start a fight with 5 Elixir and can easily hold a maximum of 10 Elixir. Once you hit the 2-minute timer, the Elixir production will double for two more minutes.

However, if you’re in battle and 4 minutes have passed, then you’ll notice the Elixir production tripling for the remainder of the game. In Clash Royale 2v2, the standard rate of Elixir generation is 30% slower than the usual rate to make up for the total number of Cards that would be played. It can get a bit much, but you’ll easily get the hang of it once you start playing.

Clash Royale Tower Troops

Clash Royale features different types of Tower Troops so that they can stay on your Crown Tower to defend it from an enemy’s troops. Since they’ll be trying their best to take it down, you’ll find these troops to be an essential and powerful asset in your defensive unit. You’ll also want to balance their health levels and balance damage to get the most out of your battle.

Some of the Clash Royale tower troops are Cannoneer, Dagger Duchess, Tower Princess, and Royal Chef. The Cannoneer is an Epic rarity and possesses 2,616 HP and 152 DPS, whereas the Dagger Duchess belongs to the Legendary Rarity and has 2,798 HP and 214/76 DPS. The Tower Princess is a Legendary Rarity and has 2,921 HP and 109 DPS. Lastly, the Tower Princess belongs to the Common Rarity and possesses 3,052 HP and 136 DPS in the game.

Conclusion

Clash Royale contains a lot more features, gameplay, and mechanics that make the game a massive success worldwide. Even after years of its launch, it continues to be one of the most popular games, with millions of players still jumping into Clash Royale to make the most of it.
