Heroes in Clash Royale offer powerful abilities that players can activate in battle, with their eyes going all glowy and fabulous. This addition has reshaped how you jump into battles, strategise, and build decks. These cards are here to help you with active decision-making while you’re in the match. In this article, we’ll dive into Hero Cards and how to unlock them in Clash Royale!

Heroes & Hero Slots In Clash Royale

Clash Royale Heroes are basically more powerful and evolved versions of the usual troops featured in the game. The real-time multiplayer game makes them available at higher progression levels, with players unlocking them by getting their hands on Hero Fragments. You can earn such fragments via Chests, Hero Boxes, Seasonal Rewards, and Special Events.

Unlocking a Hero allows you to place it into a unique Hero Slot, which is a unique deck slot explicitly built for this card type. Unlike your traditional Clash Royale units, every Hero has its unique ability that you can manually activate in the middle of battle. Such abilities can easily help make or break the game by offering effects, like healing, temporary shields, and more.

The first Hero Slot is set to unlock at Arena 15, which allows you to keep one Hero per deck. On the other hand, the second slot can be unlocked at Arena 25, allowing you to make unique strategic decisions and differentiate your deck. There’s a limit on the slots to make sure that the features enhance your gameplay experience without making it feel too much for you.

How To Unlock Heroes In Clash Royale

Reaching Arena 15 is an absolute requirement before players can start collecting their Heroes. You’ll need 200 Hero Fragments to unlock a single Hero. Once it’s unlocked, equip them in a deck’s Hero Slot and feel free to use them during battle. It’ll take some time to master them, so don’t get too bummed about it, remain patient, and keep practising when you get the chance!

Different Heroes In Clash Royale

  • Hero Giant – Hero Giant received a pair of powerful gauntlets and has become even more focused at taking down various buildings in Clash Royale. His Hero Ability, called Heroic Hurl, allows the character to throw the nearby opponent possessing the highest HP across the Arena and far away from him in the multiplayer game.
  • Hero Knight – Hero Knight has gotten himself a brand-new armor, shield, and a whole new method of protecting his team. His Hero Ability, called the Triumphant Taunt, lets the Hero distract his opponents with his amazingly gorgeous mustache. He then raises his shield, which offers him an extra HP bar while nearby foes start attacking him.
  • Hero Musketeer – Her Hero Ability, Trusty Turret, allows the character to summon an automatic turret right in front of her. It can deal massive damage to its enemies once it lands, opening fire on opponents until its HP is completely depleted. While other Heroes require 2 Elixirs to use their Hero Abilities, Hero Musketeer needs 3 Elixirs.
  • Hero Mini P.E.K.K.A – Hero Mini P.E.K.K.A’s Hero Ability, Breakfast Boost, lets him cook and eat pancakes to level up. However, the more patience you possess, the more you’ll be rewarded. If you wait a long time to use the ability and land a bunch of attacks on your enemies, the more you’ll see the character levelling up in the match.

Conclusion

Hero Cards are a useful addition to Clash Royale, enhancing the gameplay experience and keeping players hooked. The idea of unique abilities and using them in battle is enough to excite players!
