How to Link Brawl Stars to Supercell ID

There are more than 85 million gamers who have registered for Brawl Stars globally. Every single one of them runs the risk of losing their account if it isn’t correctly connected to a Supercell ID. Several mobile games automatically link your progress to a device. However, Brawl Stars requires you to manually connect your account in order to save your progress.

If you don’t do that, everything, including your Brawlers, skins, trophies, and any gems you’ve purchased with real money, will be erased due to a factory reset, a misplaced phone, or an unintentional uninstall.

This article explains how to link your Brawl Stars account to Supercell ID.

What is Supercell ID and How Does it Work?

Supercell ID is a free account system that stores all of your Brawl Stars progress in the cloud and links it to an email address. Brawl Stars, Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, Boom Beach, and Hay Day can all be accessed with a single login. Traditional passwords are not used. Instead, Supercell verifies your identity by sending a six-digit code to your registered email each time you log in on a different device.

The degree of control it offers sets it apart from Google Play or Apple Game Center. Supercell ID allows you to access your Brawl Stars account on any mobile device, independent of the operating system.

Google Play and Apple Game Center cannot access your Brawl Stars account once it has been linked to Supercell ID. You must actively manage and maintain access to the email address you use when registering.

How to Link Brawl Stars to Supercell ID?

It’s easy to link your Supercell ID to your Brawl Stars account. Follow these steps to use an existing ID from another Supercell game to log in and link your Brawl Stars account to your Supercell ID:

  1. Launch Brawl Stars and tap the gear icon in the upper-right corner to open Settings.
  2. If your account hasn’t been linked yet, the Supercell ID button will appear as “Disconnected” when you tap it.
  3. Select “Sign In” if you already have a Supercell ID from another Supercell game, or “Register Now” if you’re making a new one.
  4. After entering a working email address that you will always have access to, click Register.
  5. Look for a six-digit Supercell verification code in your inbox, then type it into the app.
  6. Your Brawl Stars account is connected and backed up to the cloud once it has been verified.
  7. Your Brawl Stars account is added to your Supercell ID if you already have one from playing Clash of Clans or Clash Royale. This allows you to access all related games with a single login.

To remember your account locally and avoid entering a verification code each time you launch the game on that device, choose “Remember me on this device” during the login procedure. If you omit this step, Supercell will email you a new code every time you log in.

Conclusion

It doesn’t take much time to link your Brawl Stars account to Supercell ID, but doing so spares you from a lot of trouble. In Brawl Stars in particular, once the device is lost, there is no way to retrieve an unlinked account. The system as a whole depends on your registered email being current and reachable. A further layer of security that most gamers overlook is enabled by turning on two-factor authentication on that email and avoiding ISP-based addresses.
